NAS Residential Complex

The main driver for the design was to create a series of housing unit that are repeated to create and controlled facade pattern. This provides an overall composition that is distinctive, elegant and timeless. We end up with a proposal that creates a stark contrast to the existing typologies on the surrounding plots. The plot is divided evenly into individual plots for the town house units. Due to the plot being blocked off by neighbouring buildings of the same height, there are no out looking views from the site. We propose a green belt in the center of the plot to provide a communal space where all the units face. This provides inward looking views toward the center of the plot.
